the challenge
This client of ours is a Houston-based novelist. Author M. W. Moore is currently
working on a fact-based trilogy that contains allusions to his turbulent past.
Author M. W. Moore released his first novel, entitled For What I Hate I Do, in 2005. With a limited budget,
but with sheer determination, he developed an initial marketing strategy with the assistance of friends
and personal contacts. He was able to develop his own logo design concept and marketing collateral such
as flyers and posters. He also had a website designed. However, with the growing demand of travel engagements
and constant outreach to make sure that his book was buzzed as needed, he found it was necessary to contract with a marketing company
that would be able to meet his strengthening demands. Furthermore, this client needed
to consistently market his first book while he worked to develop the second novel of his three-part series.
the solution
Author M. W. Moore initially appealed to moksha media with a request
to update his website with new content, i.e. the promotion of his new upcoming book. After initially contracting
with him, we offered further suggestions that would help him to develop and grow his marketing strategy so that he might become
uniquely branded in his industry. After fulfilling his initial website request, we further contracted with
Author M. W. Moore to develop the second phase of his direct marketing pieces for his new novel Internal Chaos.
We designed and produced flyers, posters, and e-marketing material. We standardized his logo design so that it would meet the
requirements of the general marketing industry. We also designed and developed the new book cover for
Internal Chaos. We contract with Author M. W. Moore on a consistent basis in order to keep his branding
harmonious.
